About Me
Chromium Auto Photography was started by Aaron McHone to document all the cool and unique cars that exist in the southeast Texas region. Based in San Antonio, Aaron has a passion to combine his 15 years of photography experience with his fascination with beautiful cars. His desire is to create lifelong memories for those that have put the time, energy, and effort into acquiring, modding, and restoring these incredible machines.
Whether it’s an exotic supercar, heavily modified sports car, or a lovingly restored classic, Aaron believes in capturing each one with stunning images that will be shared for generations to come.

Vision
When I start the process, I get to know your car, and you! I want to know what’s unique, what have you added (or removed). I think about what kind of environment your car will look best in, and what kind of photos you would want hanging on your walls.
It’s not just a car. It’s a story.
Time
I can be quick while shooting on location, but that doesn’t mean I have to be. If I see that 3rd angle against that other wall that would look really cool, I’ll stay and make sure I get that shot for you. I know once the shoot is over, any chance to get that one amazing shot is gone, so I’m not afraid to be quick, but also never rush a shoot.
Details
They say the magic happens in the editing room, and that’s 100% true. When I edit I see those tiny scratches in the paint and remove them. I see that small section of the road that’s distracting and fix it. I see where the leather on the seat is a bit worn and fix that too. My editing isn’t a one-button AI filter. I edit your photos with the same craftsmanship you would expect from someone physically modifying your car.
